Is anone else watching and loving The Listener?  I am cautiously falling in love.  I'm only being cautious because...I worry it won't survive and I've been hurt before.  =P  But it is an AWESOME. SHOW.  You should all watch it so my heart remains joyfully unbroken.

For all it's pomp and circumstance, Twitter is a strangely intimate affair.

It doesn't matter if 5 people are following you or 500,000.  The messages to you are private... you can share them if you wish.  But when you speak you somehow feel like you're speaking to the world. 

The real intimacy is that it's so much like a friend.  At any given moment you can let off some of the pressure bulding in your mind in 140 characters or less.  If you are laying in bed and can't sleep or just HAVE to tell some your good news.

And it is a great equalizer.
